This photo was taken on my very first day of practicum in 2024! This was my first time working in a formal classroom and it was an amazing experience that I will never forget.
I created this little self-portrait with fun-fact bubbles about myself during a class activity near the beginning of my first term in TRU’s teaching program. This was a fun and creative activity that allowed me to express myself and share who I am with my professor.
This audio clip is a parody of Billie Eilish’s song “Birds of a Feather” that I wrote and recorded for a science experiment about making ice cream!
Shown here, I am introducing the science group presentation and activity that inspired my song parody. This presentation and activity was both fun and challenging, and I learned a lot about preparation and classroom management from this experience.
I made this place-based lesson video for a Social Studies assignment, and I added a little skit for humour! This video was filmed on the Christmas Island trail in Salmon Arm, BC.
